He has also been providing facial aesthetic treatments for over 10 years. Having initially completed his foundation and advanced courses in wrinkle correction and dermal fillers, he went on to complete his Postgraduate Certificate in facial aesthetics from the University of Ulster, graduating with distinction in 2021.
Dr Kamal has a keen passion for education and was one of the youngest dentists to be appointed as a dental foundation trainer, teaching new graduates in their first year of qualification. He continues to be committed to continued professional education and the importance of continually updating one’s skills with the latest advances in technology. He is a keen advocate for the increased use of digital technology within the dental setting, having trained with both CEREC and iTero scanners. He has recently completed an advanced surgical training course on bone grafting. As well as attending courses, he has lectured on the importance of safeguarding within the dental setting.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Kamal is keen health and fitness enthusiast and enjoys training at the gym most mornings. He is a former skydiver, completing over 600 descents and is one of a handful of people to have been awarded Wingsuit pilot coaching status by the British Parachute Association.
